Your facility is accredited by an agency or licensed by the state - or both. Do some investigating and determine what accreditations or licenses your clinical facility holds. There may be more than one.
Provide a short summary here of the accreditations/licenses and attach documentation. Why is this important for the organization/facility? Discuss the impact of not attaining accreditation.
For those who only have state licensure and no organizational accreditation - provide some insight on whether the facility is seeking APEx accreditation or something similar and why/why not.

At Orlando Health UF Cancer Center we have several accreditations to ensure patients of our mission of quality. Our list of certifications includes the following: Florida Cancer Center of Excellence Award, American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer accreditation, Breast Care Center accreditation from the National Accreditation Programs for Breast Care Centers (NAPBC), Radiation Oncology accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR), Medical Oncology certification from Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI), and CAMPEP accreditation for medical physics residency program. Each of these accreditations is an acknowledgement of performance in a respective category that meets the Orlando Health mission and values.
The Florida Cancer Center of Excellence Award if given for meeting rigorous standards in performance measures, patient care, regulation, peer review, and research. This designation was developed by Florida legislature and a Joint Committee to acknowledge centers that provide a high quality of care and is an indicator of our hospital’s dedication to serve the local community. The ACoS Commission on Cancer accreditation is granted for sites meeting educational standards who work towards the development of educational resources and opportunities. CAMPEP accreditation allows Orlando health to participate and accept in physics residents. NAPBC accreditation is granted for sites meeting the standards for educational requirements related to breast cancer treatment. For this certification employees are required to perform part of their bi-annual continuing education on topics related to breast cancer. The ACoS, CAMPEP, and NAPBC accreditations are part of the Orlando Health mission to provide quality health care through ongoing education. Staff knowledgeable in up to date practices are able to give superior patient care which benefits the hospital in many ways. Positive reviews help build the hospital’s reputation within the community. In a large city like Orlando where there are many care options it is important to stand out among the competition. Additionally, patient satisfaction scores are directly related to medicare reimbursement rates which affect the hospital financially.
